Missing Caleb

We all are missing Caleb around our house lately. Yesterday was my birthday and it always brings back tender memories of Caleb. He started at a young age to take me out for a birthday dinner ,just the 2 of us.I have such wonderful memories of those times we spent eating and walking through the mall.These are some of my most treasured memories that are locked in my heart.So yesterday was hard not to see him and for some reason we couldn't get a hold of him all day.Our phones are messed up as some of you know due to the tornado's last week crossing our lines with a neighbor.I can't wait to talk to him.This time has been good for him and he is doing wonderful and we are so proud of how hard he has been working and all that he is accomplishing but the limited communication is horrible. Not just limited communication via phone but the tight restricted visiting that we get in person is so much different than for other colleges.I know all this is worth it because we get to see Caleb fulfill his dreams and that makes it worth the difficulty.Some might think from this, that I am wishing my little boy back but I feel good to see him grow into a fine young man and embrace the future.I don't wish him to be a little boy...well....maybe I do wish to go back there for one more birthday dinner.
